the last day of school @ 5:23 pm

twas was the last day of school. school as in lesson-proper school.

but this also means the start of all that mugging for prelims and A Levels. :(

the turnout this morning was not bad considering it was friday and usually the rests of the class will only turn up at 11am for lit tutorial. so we sat around the stone tables writing cards for mrs liew and reading teacher's comments on our PW. gosh, seeing the PW file brought back many painful memories frm the torment last year.

i'm craving for another oreo muffin now. darn.

anyways, scott decided to teach everyone how to fly again today. and this time almost everybody participated and the whole scene was quite funny. while some of us were doing, scott walked around checking whether we were doing it the correct way. NUTS. he apparently thought he was harry potter teaching us how to fight the dark arts or something, wah lao ... daniel hated his guts and gave him the nickname - HARRY SCOTTER.

ROFLLMAOLOL.

scott conducting his lecture on flying w/o wings for beginners. LOL.

the guys having balloon pants cos they were doing the flying thing. it was seriously damn funny.

HAHA. barney went, "why my butt look so big?!" when he saw this photo. total barna-BUM. ;p

some of the r-tards in the class who tried flying - scott style. ignore the r-tard high school musical lyrics, i couldn't help but put those lyrics in. HAHA. HSM2 rocked. :D

the class "mugging" at the stone tables. i have no idea why i decided to go under the stone tables, i must have been influenced by lydia who was totally high today.

love this photo.

RACHEL CHEWY. :))

and can i just add one more thing ...

WOOHOO. geogers. :D

p.s. photos are retrivable on my flickr account - username: wheatprawnzo.
p.p.s. val i want your photos!

HE DEBATES & FLIES TOO! @ 10:25 pm

WOW!

not only only does he debate ... scott tan flies too!

his dumb attempt on the brainiac thingy abt putting your hands in your pocket and watch yourself fly! so apparently, scott was breaking into the infamous scott-spasms talking abt this whole flying thing.

if you ever need a laugh, come back here and look at scott's miserable attempt to fly.

@ 8:24 pm

just wanted to say happy mugging! you'll all be AWESOME! hahahha. my results are coming out on thursday and i am freaking out...you should be relieved that you still have time to MUG! hahaha ... nearly 3 whole months at that! i revised one week before my papers...ya! hahaha...soooo you'll all be more than FINE!

hope you all enjoyed national day...i thought the parade was beautiful...except for that ridiculous looking red lobsterish roller blader who fell when the commentator was praising the prowess of the three rollerbladers talent spotted just for the parade! haha..

hello world! @ 9:36 pm

as i have been ordered by one, weeyuting, to come and keep this blog alive, i will kindly comply. anyway, well done yuting! you have put the few photowhoring occasions to good use. we MUST photowhore more in our last 2 (oh my heaven) weeks together before prelims.

anyway, this is a very welcome break from the brain bashing world of ki and reading freaking university prospectus telling me that i must get AAA for conditional offers. Very Depressing.

so since i was one of the 3 people who actually turned up for national day celebrations on wednesday, let me tell you all what you missed. nothing much. (; but there were a few very classic bits. like teo in his army camo uniform, andre and christian riding into the parade square in the black jeep with the security guard dressed in batik waving at the crowd (very hilarious parody of the parade inspection), gohlayyen taking part in some teachers game and eating stuff blindfolded, and yours truly knocking her own glasses off her face and under mr seet's car during mass dance. forced patriotism is always fun.

oh, and very important announcement!
EVERYBODY! OUR DEAREST CTREP, SAMANTHA TAN XUE LI IS IN PAGEANT FOR SDD. VOTE DEAR A11-ners! VOTE!

thank you and goodnight.

-remember kiddies, its wong to bi min.

@ 9:27 pm

im blogging. cos blogging is seckz.

anyway, there's a statue of a foreign worker beside the sir stamford raffles statue along the sg river..never noticed it before.

to me, that perfectly encapsulates Singapore's identity.

the very buildings we're sitting in right now aren't even built by locals; they're all built by foreigners. we're a nation founded on enterprise and exploitation. if the combined pay of a maid and bangla worker not exceeding $1000 isn't exploitation, what is?

so who are the mysterious people employing this bargain-rate, dirt-cheap labour? that's where raffles comes in. Singapore's official story begins with Raffles landing on our shores, with some anecdotal references to sang nila utama and that guy who threw the rock very far and some other random stories forming the insignificant backdrop. to this day, expats lay claim to top positions in the corporate world and most locals either sell imitation western food, teach lit and get paid less than Mr Harris or take up other middle-management positions. that's where us real singaporeans come in. we take the middleground that the banglas and white expats cannot/don't deem to take.

ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT With Daniel @ 11:35 pm

Hi A11ers ! hope you guys didnt spend your ndp holiday stoning at home! anyway ,this is the thongster writing to inform you guys that we are planning to make the airport study thing a weekly event ! yes since the A levels are coming up ,its extremely important that we must all start to live up to people's expectation so in the words of big Sam, its time to get " SERIOUS"

You can study anything you want at the airport so feel free to bring along books on HISTORY!!! , Lit ,Econs ,Ki,Gp, Maths and ROCKS or what some people may call Geography . -grins

Yuting
"hey who says rocks are not important after all, we always sit at the STONE tables you know!"
Daniel
"yes i agree cause stones = rocks?"
Yuting
"you are such a male chauvinist!"

(an example of how she turns every topic into a gender discrimination issue...)

sorry back to the topic:
Everyone is invited to come for 'Nerdy Fridays' and though its not complusory ( well except for Barney who needs to get some sun and exercise ) , pls try and make it cause our class hardly do stuff outside of school and we may not have that chance in future!

Anyway, since everyone is feeling so stress over the A levels , heres some useful facts that i found from SCOTTipedia which might prove useful in helping us get closer to a 'GRADE A'
enjoy :)

From SCOTTipedia, the free encyclopedia
random fact of the day:

The Cheese bun

Cheese buns or cheese breads are small, cheese-flavored rolls, a breakfast food in Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and northern Argentina. They are distinctive not only because they are made of cassava or corn flour, but also because the inside is chewy and moist. If poorly done, they may seem uncooked or doughy. Their size may range from one to six inches in diameter, with about two inches of height. Usually inexpensive, they are popular among all ages :)

lesson of the day : remember to cook your cheesebuns properly!
ok i apologise for being so lame hahas no idea whats wrong with me today
anyway hope to see you guys on monday though i suspect the geog ppl may have stoned me to death before that

REVAMPED & BACK! @ 11:22 pm

it's been a long while since anybody outdated.

so the resident potato has updated and shifted the blog to a gmail account. we now have an A11 gmail account, useful for emailing classmates 10 years down the road - assuming we still check the incoming mails/blog 10 years down the road. and the log in for blogger and gmail account is now the same ...

username: ohsixa11@gmail.com
password: ask me and i'll tell you! :D

so do keep the blog running, i know the dreaded prelims and As are coming. do take time to do part-time counselling on this blog, some rather stressed up classmate might really need it.

to the KI ppl, hang in there w/ your IS!
to the h3 research ppl, just keep going!

oh yes, national day celebration tmr. even BARNEY'S NOT GOING! i guess tmr's attendance will be a record-breaking one for the class.

and on friday ... we're having a STUDY GROUP!
founded by lydia and yuting. :))

DATE/DAY; 10th Aug 07/Friday
VENUE; our world-class changi airport
TIME; 10.30am to anytime (even till the last train leaves)
